Black Menace - Ghetoasnigga
Black Menace is a group from New Orleans, LA. They started off as a trio that consisted of Threat, J-Dawg and DJ Jaz. Later on they were reduced to a duo when Jaz left the group. This is their debut album and it was released in 1992 on Hollygrove Records. The record is excellently produced by DJ Jaz. The beats are well crafted and hold some dope samples. Lyrics are courtesy of J-Dawg and Threat. They managed to spit gangsta rhymes all through out. This is Black Menace at their raw and uncut beginning. The album also contains hints of some early N.O. bounce. This record was quickly noticed and eventually caused the group to sign with Big Boy Records. Overall its a very nice tape release considering its age and a very important one for the group as well.

Thanks a lot for this. Your blog is great.
Do you happen to have the following black menace record ? It's called "really doe". If you do, please post it.
Thanks again.
Shit, man, an empty promise.... this rip is mono! that means that "Going off Pt. 2" only has half the vocs!!! unless my gears fuckd or something. Rerip with the red And the white plug, mane!
kid slizzard, the rip is fine. I just checked it. It hits smooth on both ends. Its not mono at all. Check your equipment.
Yeah I listened to other songs too and they seem in stereo. The thing I'm confused about is that "goin off part two" should have two simultaneous raps, do yall hear that in this?
Isn't there a longer version of Going Off that used to come on the radio with a chorus?
Oh, and I know what this guy means. There is supposed to be 2 people rapping at the same time. One verse in what speaker and the other verse in the other. I have this tape. When I get the time I'll rip the song and show you what he means.
Ok here's a link to it: http://www.cocaineblunts.com/mp3/bm.mp3
