Point Blank - Prone To Bad Dreams

Point Blank is originally a rapper from Chicago, IL but later moved to Houston, TX in 1990 and eventually joined the South Park Coalition (S.P.C.). Since then he has been one of the hardest rappers in the click. He is known for his raw and uncut delivery. He is also the founder of the group Wreckless Klan. This was his debut album and it was released in 1992 on Bigtyme Recordz. Production on this dope album was done by Point Blank himself along with Pimp C of UGK, K-Rino, Triple 6 and Egypt E. Featuring on the album is UGK, .38, Klondike Kat, Ganksta NIP, 3-2, The Terrorists and K.O. Blank is a very good artist and has dropped some albums that are considered classics in the South but he has never received any recognition or fame. He is considered by many to be the underground's best kept secret.

Production on this record is done by the magnificent Bruce "Grim Reaper" Rhodes. He is assisted by the likes of DJ Blast and Marlin Demby. The beats are hard hitting and are also backed up by killer rhymes. Features on the album are from Klondike Kat and Maré Jayne. This group is also affiliated with the South Park Coalition (S.P.C.). The album was dedicated in the memory of Point Blank's younger brother. Rest in peace .38.

Ice Lord - Now Who Dat

Ice Lord is a rapper originally from New Orleans, LA but later moved to Houston, TX around the year, 1995. He has resided there ever since and ended up becoming a member of the South Park Coalition (S.P.C.) as well as the notorious spin off group known as the Wreckless Klan. This is his debut album and it was released in 2000 on Bigtyme Recordz. The production is handled by Thug Dirt, J.B. Money and Mike B. The beats are pretty good and are blended quite nicely. Ice Lord manages to hold his own on the microphone despite the hefty guest appearances. Artists featuring on this album are Klondike Kat, Point Blank, PSK-13, Gangsta Mac, Zayne and Snik Nik. Even though this release is straight form the underground, it can still be held up against any mainstream release.
